We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. "I would like to see some of the interior pages as I don't get the relationship with the rest of the magazine. I like the index, you did well."
1) "CONTENTS" is kind of obvious and boring. I'd either not include it at all or use that space to highlight something else more creatively.
2) You've got the page # twice, both with the big outlined type and the small print. It's too much. Especially the big number because it's too dark and interferes with the more important content of the page: the index.
